The newest ship in the Celebrity Cruises fleet, Celebrity Edge will call both Barcelona and Rome homeports in 2019.
Launching in autumn 2019, Edge, which can carry 2,900 passengers will also call in at Southampton on May 13th 2019, for a tw0-night mini cruise which will be attended by the media and travel agents.
The first chance fare paying passengers will get a chance to hop on board will be a 10-night sailing from Southampton to Rome which departs on May 15th 2019.
Celebrity Edge will offer both seven-night Barcelona and Rome sailings, as well as 10-night Western Mediterranean and 11-night Eastern Mediterranean cruises in autumn.
The ship will sail to two new ports of call for Celebrity, Nauplion, Greece and Santa Margherita, Italy as well as offering longer stays in some popular ports such as Ibiza, Monte Carlo and Naples.

Celebrity Edge will be one of five Celebrity ships that will be located in Europe in 2019, joining Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Silhouette which will be based in Southampton, replacing the popular Celebrity Eclipse in sailing from the UK.
