MSC Cruises Launches MasterChef At Sea
MSC Cruises has announced that they will be bringing MasterChef to the seven seas, with a fleetwide roll out expected towards the end of 2017.
Currently available on MSC Splendida and set to launch on Meraviglia, Magnifica and Armonia by September 2017, the competition will see cruisers put to the test by having to create a dish using mystery ingredients, with one being crowned the MasterChef at sea.
The programme will follow a similar pattern to that of the television show, and the dishes created will be judged by the ship’s executive chef on three key points, originality, presentation and of course taste!
Those who are victorious will receive a MasterChef prize onboard and will also be involved in the ‘Final Lucky Draw’ which consists of two exclusive prizes. The runner up will have the chance to be part of the MasterChef audience, as well dining in one of the restaurants featured in the show with three friends, plus the MasterChef book, which includes 50 exclusive recipes.
The overall winner however will receive a dinner at their home, with one of the MasterChef stars acting as their personal chef, plus receiving the MasterChef recipe book and the chance to enter the casting process for the MasterChef television show.
