Update 27/08/2020

Carnival Cruise Line have suspended sailings through to October 31st 2020. For sailings departing Australia & New Zealand, they have now been suspended until 2nd December 2020

Update: 22/06/2020

During this unprecedented pause in our business, we have continued to confer with public health, government and industry officials, and watch with great interest as commerce, travel and personal activities begin to resume. The cruise industry announced that it would voluntarily extend its pause in North America through September 15th 2020.

We must share the disappointing news that we are extending out pause in service and cancelling all cruises through September 30th 2020.

If your sailing has been impacted, you will have received an email direct from Carnival or your Travel Advisor. This email will have all the instructions you need to claim your cancellation offer or refund.

Update: 04/05/2020

During this pause in our business, we have continued to assess the environment to determine whether our plan to resume operations beginning on June 27 is feasible. While we are beginning to see positive signs that the country is returning to some level of normalcy, the point at which we can begin sailing is uncertain and we are making plans for a phase-in of service later this summer. We are taking a measured approach, ensuring we are well prepared to support all public health and regulatory requirements prior to resuming service. We are focusing our return to service on a select number of homeports where we have more significant operations and that are easily accessible by car for many of our guests. Starting up with limited operations will also allow us to focus our resources on implementing new operational protocols prior to a broader roll-out across the fleet as travel and commerce continue to recover.

All cruises from June 27 to July 31 will be canceled
 Beginning August 1, we plan to resume cruises on the following ships:
o Galveston: Carnival Dream, Carnival Freedom and Carnival Vista
o Miami: Carnival Horizon, Carnival Magic and Carnival Sensation
o Port Canaveral: Carnival Breeze and Carnival Elation
 Other than the above referenced service from Galveston, Miami, and Port Canaveral, all other North American homeport cruises will be canceled through August 31
 All Carnival Spirit Alaskan cruises from Seattle will be canceled, as well as the Carnival Spirit Vancouver – Honolulu cruise on September 25 and the Honolulu-Brisbane cruise on October 6
 All Carnival Splendor cruises in Australia from June 19 to August 31 will be canceled

Update: 01/04/2020

Good Afternoon,

In light of the ongoing global response to the COVID-19 situation, we continue to work with governments and port officials about our operations and itineraries. We now know with certainty that we will need to cancel some additional cruises, including the following sailings:

– All Alaska sailings through and including June 30, 2020

– All San Francisco sailings through 2020

– All Carnival Radiance sailings through and including November 1, 2020

– All Carnival Legend sailings through and including October 30, 2020

Guests have two options, they can either opt for the enhanced value which is 100% future cruise credit plus bonus onboard credit for their future sailing, onboard credit amount depends on length of original sailing. Or they can get 100% refund.

Update Regarding Cruises Departing March 14, 2020 – April 9, 2020
Dear Carnival Guest,

We are sorry to share the news that Carnival Cruise Line is temporarily pausing service, effective with sailings departing Saturday, March 14 through April 09, 2020 across its fleet of North America based ships. We will resume service on April 10, 2020.

As you know, COVID-19 has now turned into a global pandemic. Carnival has responded by implementing higher levels of screening, monitoring and sanitation protocols to protect the health and safety of our guests, crew and communities we serve. We have had no diagnosed cases linked to our operations and we are committed to continuing to do our part to support public officials in their efforts to manage and contain this unprecedented public health situation.

On behalf of all of us at Carnival Cruise Line, we extend our sincere apologies for the disruption to your vacation plans and trust you understand this decision was made with everyone’s best interest at heart.

Since we’d love nothing more than to welcome you back just as soon as we resume operations, we’re pleased to present the following options:

We have automated the process to eliminate any need to call us. A form will be sent to you via email. Nothing else is needed to complete the process other than completion of that form. Please be patient if you reach out to us as we are experiencing high call volume.
You have until December 31, 2020 to make a selection or you will automatically receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit.
Regardless of the option you select, your taxes, fees and port expenses, Carnival Vacation Protection, pre-paid gratuities, pre-purchased Carnival shore excursions, beverage and Wi-Fi packages, and Fun Shop purchases will be automatically refunded to the original form of payment.

If you have independent air, we encourage you to contact your airline carrier directly as they are being flexible with change fees.

Once again, we want to say how sorry we are that we won’t be able to continue with our plans to operate your cruise. Thanks for hanging in there with us. We look forward welcoming you aboard a Carnival cruise in the future!

Sincerely,

Christine Duffy

President
