Norwegian Cruise Line Celebrates Top Honors as Leading Cruise Line In North American, Caribbean and European Regions by World Travel Awards!

Norwegian Cruise Line has been honored with a bevy of awards including “North America’s Leading Cruise Line” for the second year in a row and the “Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Line” for the fifth year by World Travel Awards. Norwegian was also awarded “Europe’s Leading Cruise Line” for the tenth consecutive year, further exemplifying its position as a world leader in the cruise industry.

“We are overjoyed to once again be honored as a leader in the travel industry by the World Travel Awards, and to especially celebrate our tenth consecutive win as “Europe’s Leading Cruise Line,” said Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line. “We sincerely thank all of the industry professionals and guests who voted for us, as we continue to strive for excellence and provide an unforgettable vacation experience to each and every guest who sails with us.”

The World Travel Awards has been recognizing and acknowledging excellence amongst companies involved in the global travel and tourism industries since 1993. The annual awards are voted on by thousands of travel and tourism professionals from across the globe and honor travel companies that provide outstanding products and customer service.

Norwegian’s fifteen ships sail a variety of thrilling itineraries, from the Caribbean to the Panama Canal, Europe, South America and the Mediterranean, as well as Australia and the Far East. All itineraries feature Norwegian’s signature cruising experience, offering freedom and flexibility for guests to enjoy their own personal ideal vacation experience on their schedule.

Norwegian’s next new ship, Norwegian Bliss, will sail to Alaska, the Caribbean and select voyages to the Mexican Riviera beginning June 2018. The line’s sixteenth ship will feature many firsts-at-sea for the global market including the largest race track at sea, award-winning Broadway entertainment, two observation lounges for guests to enjoy stunning views and so much more. Norwegian has several ships cruising to the Caribbean and the Bahamas from convenient homeport locations including Miami, New York, Tampa, Port Canaveral (Orlando), New Orleans and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
