The Owner’s Suites are the epitome of luxury cruising aboard the RV AmaLotus. Perfect for entertaining in privacy, these incredible suites boast a Panoramic Balcony, a large Outside Balcony Terrace with sun loungers, a second Outside Balcony, an adjoining living room and an entertaining area, a king-size bed and two ensuites, one with a whirlpool spa bath.

Sadec Twin Balcony Suite

The spacious Sadec Twin Balcony Suites are perfectly designed for entertaining, and offer a significantly larger living space. You’ll have plenty of room to relax in your suite at the end of a day’s sightseeing. These suites also feature a large Outside Balcony and indoor Panoramic Balcony.

Deluxe Twin Balcony Suite (Categories: C, B, B+ and A)

Representing a meticulously planned progression in design, APT’s exclusive Deluxe Twin Balcony Suites offer guests 226 square feet of floor space and use of both a Panoramic Balcony and an Outside Balcony.     Large Sun Deck with Swimming Pool - From July 2016, the Sun Deck will have a fresh new look so you can enjoy the passing riverside views in comfort.

    Gift Shop

    The Gift Shop is tucked into a corner on the port side of the main staircase atrium. Despite its diminutive size, it still manages to hold plenty of souvenirs and is a great place to pick up that last-minute gift!

    Harking from the villages and towns you visit, local performers share their beloved customs and culture, offering a unique insight into the traditional way of life along the Mekong River. 

    Insightful Presentations

    During your river cruise, your onboard knowledgeable local guides will deliver personal, fascinating presentations that you’re able to attend as you choose. Learn about the golden age of Cambodia during the Angkor period, as well as the tragedy of the Khmer Rouge regime. Gain insight into Cambodia’s modern-day culture and uncover the regional history behind the Vietnam War. Local customs, beliefs and traditions are also unearthed, enhancing your appreciation of the places you’ll visit. 

    Fruit Carving Demonstration & Cooking Class

    Decorative food is a big part of Vietnamese food culture. On board, enjoy a fruit-carving demonstration by one of the ship’s chefs, and learn the secrets of making the region’s famous delicacy – Vietnamese Spring Rolls. 

    Music on the Mekong

    On select evenings, the Saigon Lounge & Bar hosts a diverse program of cultural performances, offering you a glimpse into the arts and traditions of the region you’re visiting. Throughout the entire cruise, a pianist will be quietly playing soothing local music as well as some old favourites. 

    Traditional & Interactive Evening of Khmer Dance

    Enjoy a traditional Khmer folk performance and listen to unique music that’s local to the Mekong Delta region. This evening is all about you getting involved – you can even join in the dance if you wish. During another interactive evening, your multi-talented crew will show off their performance skills.

      Smoking Policy

      Smoking is only allowed on the sun deck of all ships. 

      Dietary Requirements

      Please advise the APT reservation agent at time of
      booking of any special dietary requirements you may have and we
      will make every effort to accommodate your request. Please note
      that not all diets are possible. 

      Disabled Facilties

      Any disability requiring special attention must be reported to
      APT at the time of booking. APT will make
      reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled
      cruise participants, but is not responsible for any denial of services
      by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. Tour
      buses are not equipped with wheelchair ramps and cabin doors
      are not wide enough to allow access by standard wheelchairs.
      Wheelchairs and walkers cannot be carried on tour buses, due to
      space limitations. Wheelchair passengers should be aware of these
      limitations. For safety reasons, passengers in wheelchairs cannot
      be carried on ramps in ports where the ship is at anchor. We regret
      that we cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member
      for walking, getting on/off tour busses and other transportation
      vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified travel companion
      must accompany travellers who need assistance. 

      Dress Code

      We recommend country club casual for dinner. Guests typically wear dressier attire for the Captain’s Dinner.

      Gratuities

      Gratuities to your Cruise Manager and ship crew are not included in the vacation price. While the amount of these gratuities will depend upon your degree of satisfaction for services received. Gratuities on most vessels, but not all, may be charged on credit card as well as cash.
