Entertainment Line Up Revealed For New Carnival Horizon Cruise Ship
Carnival Cruise Line have revealed a host of new shows that will be onboard their newest ship, Carnival Horizon, in partnership with directors from Broadway and London’s West End.
Horizon’s theatre will be headlined by three shows, Celestial Strings, Soulbound and Vintage Pop when the ship launches in April 2018. The shows will consist of a combination of singing, dancing and special effects using the LED screens in the main theatre.
Celestial Stings will be the first show for Carnival which will feature a live string trio, and will blend classical modern and modern pop. The show will create an enchanted garden in the main theatre by using visual imagery and 3d cast interactions.
Soulbound is a New Orleans inspired production, that will use some of the city’s famous landmarks in combination with R&B music, including hit songs such as ‘Superstitious,’ ‘Soul Man’ and ‘Born Under A Bad Sign.’
The third show, Vintage Pop, will take guests back to the days of the speakeasy in the Great Gatsby and Cotton Club times, and will include a six-piece live band with vibrant outfits and even including a burlesque number!
Horizon’s theatre will also host Amor Cubano: A Caribbean Dance Romance, which has been made popular onboard Carnival Vista since its debut.
