Celebrity Cruises Announce Another New Ship
Celebrity Cruises have announced they will build a new ship which will be custom-made for sailing the Galapagos archipelago.
With the capacity to carry 100 passengers, Celebrity Flora is set to debut on May 26th 2019. The vessel will be all-suite and will feature floor-to-ceiling windows as well as anchor-less technology which will assist with reducing the environmental impact on the sea floor.
Celebrity Flora will be the first ship of its kind ever to be designed and manufactured specifically with the destination in mind, which in this case is the captivating Galapagos Islands. Celebrity followed in their own footsteps of the revolutionary new ship, Celebrity EdgeSM, by designing Celebrity Flora in 3-D.
This advanced technology lets them experience every space on board in virtual reality to fine-tune every detail of the design before she’s even built. This process allows Celebrity to create the most state-of-the-art ship to ever sail the Galapagos Islands.
