UK-Bound Pacific Princess Has Multi-Million Refit

The smallest ship in Princess Cruises‘ fleet, Pacific Princess, has received a multi-million pound refit and renovation.

After completing her two-week dry dock, Pacific Princess has emerged boasting a number of exciting new features. The 670-guest ship now has modernised guest areas, four renovated dining venues, a massive 178,000 square feet of new carpet and the Princess livery on her hull, which can also be seen on Royal Princess and Majestic Princess.

Each of the ships 336 staterooms now include the cruise line’s signature Princess luxury beds and linens, and have also had new carpeting, headboards, draperies, lighting installed. In addition USB ports have been fitted, making it easier to charge mobile phones and tablet devices which is sure to be a hit with guests, young and old.

Pacific Princess’ atrium has also had an upgrade, and now features a New York City hotel design, with the ship’s pool deck taking on a ‘garden theme’ which now features modern tiling. The lounge furniture now includes double bed loungers and casual seating, groups of outdoor living sofas, lounge chairs and pool chaises, making the pool area even more luxurious.

Princess’ smallest ship is currently sailing from Ft. Lauderdale to Dover, where she will then embark on a number of different European itineraries including an 8-night Ireland, Wales and Scotland voyage with the option to attend the Military Tattoo Festival. She will then depart on a 111-day World Cruise from Los Angeles on January 20, 2018.
