Norwegian Jewel to Arrive in Sydney after Bow to Stern Renovation
Norwegian Cruise Line have today announced the completion of their most expensive refurbishment in 2018.
Norwegian Jewel has been in dry dock for 2 weeks in Singapore before her debut in Sydney on 1st December this year! Jewel will offer 7 to 19 day itineraries from some of the most exotic destinations. Departing from Sydney, Hong Kong & Singapore during Winter 2019, before heading over to Alaska for the Summer months with her sister ships, Norwegian Bliss & Norwegian Joy.
President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line has said the following:

Not only are we revealing updated designs and accommodations throughout the ship, but guests will also enjoy new venues and three incredibly exciting shows, one of which premieres for the first time on Norwegian Jewel.”
Debuting Entertainment
Two brand new shows have been put together to feature onboard the revamped Norwegian Jewel. “Rock You Tonight” will include a medley of songs from iconic bands from the 70s including Queen, Journey and The Who. As well as “Velvet” which will showcase an array of disco classics alongside circus acrobatics, cabaret & burlesque.
Updated Restaurants, Bars and Lounges
Norwegian Jewel has had nearly all of her dining, bars and lounges updated with two brand new venues making their debut. The Pit Stop & Bliss Ultra Lounge will be replacing the Sky High Bar & FYZZ Cabaret Lounge.
The Pit Stop, inspired by the all american retro bar, complete with vintage licence plates, classic car elements and even gas station signage! With the Bliss Ultra Lounge being the opposite, offering a modern setting for late-night entertainment.
Staterooms
Every stateroom onboard Norwegian Jewel has been upgraded, with new televisions, USB outlets, as well as new carpets and furniture to make them more modern and accessible. The ship has also received two brand new Haven Deluxe Owners Suites for that extra bit of luxury. At nearly 1,200 square feet, a large balcony, 2 private jacuzzies these luxurious suites accommodate up to 4 guests.
