And Seaday Brunch brings everybody’s favourite mid-morning meal to your Carnival cruise, and does it right. You’ll enjoy special french toast, loaded mac-n-cheese… and yes, more ways to cook eggs than we even thought was possible. Chow down and fuel up — you’ve got lots of exploring to do, across the ship, for the rest of the day.

MONGOLIAN WOK

Chow down on some delicious Asian goodness. First, select your noodles and veggies. Then tell one of our chefs which sauce and meat you want in the wok. Will it be mussels and Szechuan? Beef and Thai barbecue? Chicken and black bean? Don’t worry, the decision doesn’t have to be final — you can come back to Mongolian Wok and try all the combos your heart desires!

LIDO MARKETPLACE

Featuring a variety of casual dining options like Chef’s Choice, Salad Bar, Carnival Deli and more, the Lido Restaurant has something — or more likely, at least a few ‘somethings’ — to satisfy your craving. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and food options for everyone, you can enjoy your personal favourites, while dining in the company of family and friends. It’s also where you can find our Pizza Pirate pizza station and Swirls ice cream spots… both open 24 hours a day, which ought to be enough for anybody.

MASALA TIGER

Even at sea, the aromatic delight of Indian food is unmistakable. Cooked at over 1000 degrees in our traditional clay oven, Masala Tiger serves up a wide variety of signature Indian delights that are uniquely spiced, yet delicately flavored. Enjoy tandoori chicken or fish with cumin pilaf, succulent beef kebabs, or dip hot naan bread into sweet chutney, all straight from the tandoor. Here, you’ll always find an arousing array of vegetarian options made from fresh produce. Add in some masterfully seasoned side dishes and your first bite will transport you — like naan other — straight to the heart of India.

DINING ROOM

The Carnival Cruise Empire dining room offers an elegant and relaxing setting in which to enjoy a full three course menu! It’s an experience that’s filling, but never stuffy — you’re just as likely to catch waiters table-dancing as you are to order dessert. Dessert’s included — along with the rest of your meal, by the way — in your fare. But don’t skip straight to dessert, because the main course is the main attraction; drop in daily and enjoy a rotating menu of delectable favourites, including steak, seafood and prime rib.

COFFEE BAR

Why not treat yourself to a latté, macchiato, cappuccino or whichever coffee takes your fancy, as our onboard baristas, professionally trained in Aussie coffee brewing techniques, serve up your favourites. Selections of teas are also available; savour the aroma and have a delicious homemade pastry on the side or, for an even sweeter option, stop by for a milkshake, slice of cake or biscuit.

SWIRLS

Got room for dessert? Sure you do! Swirls ice cream lets you enjoy the sweeter side of brain freeze with a treat that’ll have you smiling from ear to ear. Choose from chocolate, vanilla or strawberry… or make your own mix swirled as high as you can balance it. Open on Lido deck 24/7, our soft-serve ice cream and frozen yoghurt is a great way to beat the heat all day, or the perfect night-time treat after a long evening of fun.

REDFROG RUM BAR

Guests have told us we hit on something special with the cool Caribbean chill of the RedFrog Pub. We’ve taken the best parts and brought them poolside with the RedFrog Rum Bar, where the frog keeps the fun hopping day and night with all the island flava you know and love. Join the party at this poolside bar featuring a great selection of frog-approved Caribbean rum-based concoctions available by the glass or pitcher, plus plenty of Carnival’s signature private-label draft beer, ThirstyFrog Summer Ale.

BLUEIGUANA TEQUILA BAR

BlueIguana Tequila Bar is the onboard spot to chill and enjoy a slushy tequila drink or an ice-cold Mexican cerveza. The menu offers up Mexican favorites, including several brands of tequila and a slew of Mexican brews. There’s a lineup of frozen concoctions, cocktails and margaritas served by the glass or by the pitcher, and even a special Mexican beer cocktail (yes, really). Where can you find this little slice of Mexican paradise? Next to the pool, of course. So stay cool and take in the bar’s vacation vibe while you kick back on your cruise – that’s what official bar mascot Blue the Iguana would tell you.

Pull up a seat, order your favourite cocktail, and let your friendly piano player know which songs you’d like to hear. POOL DAY! Cruising the high seas combines with some of the best cruise ship pools at sea to float your cruise-going dreams at Carnival. Whether today’s the day for a bit of a dip, a dash of splash or even some swimming — or just a serious poolside lounging session — your Carnival cruise has just the pool for you. In fact, pools are so important to a great cruise that we designed our ships to have a few of them. At an aft pool you’ll catch a breeze, plus a sea view featuring the ship’s wake, while midship pools are adjacent to that oh so sweet 24/7 ice-cream spot! And no matter which you find yourself chilling in, the sunbeams are there for the taking!

Ah, imagine a perfect day out on the links, the golfer’s zen of the ball, the hole and nothing in between but a well-manicured fairway… plus one cactus, a treasure chest… and wait, is that a windmill in the way? Just who designed this course anyway? Whoever it was, they had one thing in mind — maximum fun for mini-golfers, big and small! That’s precisely why you’ll find a course on every Carnival ship, where you can hit the holes and take in everything you’d expect, like the sights and the sounds… plus the seagulls.

JOGGING TRACK

Jogging may not immediately come to mind when you think of things to do at sea, but it probably should. You don’t have to walk on water, you just have to get on a Carnival cruise. After all, if you’re going to jog, you’d be hard-pressed to find a place to do it with a more scenic view, or a more refreshing breeze — both of these are available in abundance when you go for an open-air jog on the upper-deck. Jogging tracks are available on all Carnival ships, and are even padded for long-distance comfort.

BUILD-A-BEAR WORKSHOP AT SEA

A Carnival cruise gives kids plenty of chances to make new friends… but never before quite like this. When kids visit the Build-A-Bear Workshop at Sea, they use their small hands and big creativity to bring a new stuffed friend to life. They can customise theirs from head to toe by choosing the clothing and accessories, and even give their new friend a voice and message of its own by integrating a customisable voice chip. The cuddly bears are just the beginning — these stuffed friends come in all shapes, like a monkey, sea turtle, dog, bunny… and the cutest shark imaginable. There’s even a bear with a special Carnival-exclusive design!

To kids, arts and crafts is a fun way to spend an afternoon. To a parent, on the other hand, it’s something much more. From their earliest finger-paintings, to macaroni art and beyond, the stuff they bring home is more than just stuff — it’s art — and every last scrap of it is nothing short of precious, the work of a master. Learn to cook, Steakhouse-style from our team of chefs as they demonstrate the tricks of the trade. We take the joy of cooking and transform it into a delightful hour-long presentation of kitchen skill and ingenuity… where taste tests are always included. Tip: This fun-for-the-whole-family event fills up fast, so get there early.

ART AUCTIONS

If a room full of overly serious old men, many wearing monocles, paying top-dollar for priceless antique works of art is your perception of an “art auction”, then think again! Unlike a stodgy auction house, your vacation features a series of auction events designed to turn fine art into fine fun. From the rapid-fire ‘Lightning’ action to the cheap thrills of the ‘under $500’ event, there are plenty of chances to try your hand at bringing home something great and have a blast doing it. Unlike land auctions, we even hold fun interactive events like the “Guess the Price” competition. That said, our onboard auctions aren’t entirely without fancy trimmings — after all, what’s an auction without free-flowing champagne?

If you have an eye for art and fancy a cultural component to your cruise, we have that covered with a series of events celebrating some exceptional works. Take part in an art-themed battle of the sexes or check out showcases highlighting different artists. You can’t get any closer to great art… without buying it.

Go from ‘normal holidaymaker to ‘globe trotting art expert’ in one cruise flat — Carnival offers such a variety of educational and enlightening seminars with an ‘Art 101’ lecture series designed to be your entrance into this vibrant world. We’ll go from the earliest cave paintings to the modern masters — with stops at topics like the Renaissance, Baroque, Surrealism and Pop Art — and cover both theory and technique. With wall-to-wall activities on offer, most people wouldn’t consider their cruise as a great time to read a book, but you’ll find the bibliophilic faithful stretched out on deck chairs, enjoying the sun, sea breeze… and a page-turner. Forgot to bring a book? E-reader battery just died? Every Carnival ship features an onboard library stocked with the good stuff. For the silent types, it’s a great place to read, but if the roar of the ocean is more your soundtrack, the library is a great place to find a good read to devour, al fresco.

DREAMS STUDIO

On the same ship with the waterslides and cocktails is actually a photographic oasis. Everybody looks their best, smiles their biggest smiles on holiday… and at Dreams Studio our professional photographers beautifully capture this side of individuals, couples, groups or families. We’ll lead you to the best photo spots on the ship, in our onboard photo studio… or even ashore in some picturesque destinations. You’ll end up with amazing prints or high-quality digital files, custom photo-books, collages and large prints. Tip: Elegant Night on your cruise makes the perfect time to capture your all-dressed-up look in refined black & white portraits!

SPECIAL DIETS

Carnival can provide our guests with meals suited to the following special dietary needs: vegetarian, low-cholesterol, low-fat, low-carbohydrates, low-sugar, and gluten free. Our chefs will make every effort to fulfill your requests, and will gladly prepare freshly-made options that meet your dietary needs. Once on board, we ask you speak with the headwaiter or dining room host in advance, so they can assist in planning your daily meals in the dining room. This will allow us the necessary time to prepare foods, as requested, in a timely manner.

Gluten-free pizza dough, pasta, bread for deli sandwiches, and hamburgers buns, as well as cake are available upon request. Plus, our frozen desserts and yogurt are gluten-free. All items are freshly prepared and may take a little longer than regular menu items. Gluten-free beer, Estrella Daura, is available for your enjoyment.

We also provide prepackaged kosher meals. If you’re requesting kosher meals, you must let us know two weeks advance of your cruise.

Guests who require a different dining time than they chose when booking can change once on board the ship. Guests will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis.
