Britannia Club guests will appreciate the more intimate surroundings of this stylish restaurant.The stylish Britannia Club offers an intimate backdrop where impeccable service combines with mouth-watering cuisine. If you’re travelling in a Britannia Club Balcony stateroom you can choose to eat here for breakfast, lunch or dinner with the added flexibility of enjoying dinner any time between 6.30 and 9.00. As you’d expect, menus change daily and in addition to the full selection from the Britannia restaurant you can savour a range of enhancements for an extraordinary dining experience.

Queens Grill Restaurant

In the beautifully appointed Queens Grill you can savour the ultimate in dining sophistication.As a guest in our Queens Grill suites you’ll enjoy a remarkable dining experience. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner you’ll savour flawless service and impeccably prepared dishes ranging from exquisite contemporary creations to Cunard Classics. Enjoy the daily menu or go A La Carte, you choose. This evening you may relish a Terrine of Kentish Goats Cheese or Devon Crab Cannelloni, followed by Wild Atlantic Turbot or Onley Grounds Chateaubriand, rounded off with Grand Marnier Souffle.

Princess Grill Restaurant

As a Princess Grill guest dining here you’ll appreciate style and elegance, whatever the occasion.As a guest in our Princess Grill suites you may choose to join us in the elegant Princess Grill for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Whatever the occasion you’ll always feel special with personal and intuitive service. Join us for dinner anytime from 6.30 to 9.00, whenever suits you best. Choose from dishes such as Goats Cheese Souffle or Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare to start, perhaps followed by Rack of Dartmoor Lamb or Pan Roasted Halibut, all rounded off with a delicious Chocolate Pecan Terrine.

Lido Restaurant

Whichever ship you choose, you’ll enjoy the convenience of freshly prepared food from early morning until late.

Kings Court on Queen Mary 2, and the Lido on Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, are the perfect venues to enjoy a relaxed self-service meal. You’ll encounter a host of familiar and much-loved flavours on every visit, from continental and cooked breakfasts to home-style pizzas, sushi and sharing boards, all inspired by dishes found in popular holiday spots throughout the world.

Steakhouse at The Verandah

Perfect for special occasions, the exceptional menu features USDA prime cuts and superb seafood.

If you’re seeking alternative dining, The Verandah offers a sublime experience, whether it’s lunch or dinner. Showcasing specialties such as prime USDA grain finished New York strip steak and Alaskan king crab, alongside dishes celebrating British provenance such as Salt Marsh lamb rack, as well as renowned Wagyu beef from farther afield, the menu is a celebration of the fine provenance of the US, British Isles and Australia. Open on sea days, Steakhouse at The Verandah is available for dinner reservations and is pre-bookable.

A selection of tempting venues offers you a remarkable choice to satisfy your appetite.If anything sums up the freedom of your holiday it’s the array of places to eat and this includes the many casual venues for lunches and snacks. If you fancy an authentic pub lunch then choose the Golden Lion and you’ll discover why we’re famous for our delicious Fish and Chips and other tempting dishes. On Queen Mary 2 try the Carinthia Lounge and enjoy handmade patisseries as well as light breakfasts and lunches. Alternatively, the Boardwalk Cafe is perfect for a tasty snack in sunnier climes

Savour this decadent afternoon treat which is now even more special.Our Champagne Afternoon Tea has been enhanced further to create an especially decadent afternoon treat. When evening falls, the curtain rises. Our cast of talented performers is ready to delight you. Every evening during your cruise promises a stellar array of entertainment choices. So, whether you’re in the mood for music, dance performances or even magic shows, prepare to settle into your seat. Watch the resident Royal Court Singers & Dancers stage dazzling West-End style productions or abridged Shakespeare performances. We’ve also hand-picked a talented line-up of vocalists and instrumentalists, aerial performers and illusionists, stand-up comedians and variety entertainers

Ballroom dancing

You’ll find dancing in our magnificent Queens Room ballrooms a truly magical experience. Our Queens Room ballrooms are quite simply the largest at sea. You’ll find it’s the perfect place to dance the night away under beautiful crystal chandeliers and to the company of a live orchestra. There is no better place for you to revel in the joy of dance than under the dramatic high ceiling and our sparkling Royal Night Themed Balls are always spectacular. And remember, our complimentary dance lessons are the perfect way to hone your skills and build your confidence

Dance hosts

With gentlemen dance hosts on hand, everyone can enjoy gliding across the dance floor. If you love to dance but need a dance partner then our dance hosts are on hand in the Queens Room on every voyage, meaning you needn’t miss out on the joy of gliding across the dance floor. Dance hosts are offered to any guest wishing to ballroom dance with a partner with the exception of during party nights.

Nightclub

Visit the nightclub to dance late into the evening to the sounds of the live DJ and resident band. For a night to remember and to dance until the small hours you’ll love the strikingly located Yacht Club on board Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria. Whereas on Queen Mary 2, G32 is a stunning venue. Party until the last person hangs up their dancing shoes to the sounds of the live DJ and resident party band. And for a special evening with a twist, look out for our popular themed nights from the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties such as Saturday Night Fever and Shake Rattle and Roll

Sequence dancing

Experience all the fun of sequence dancing in the stunning Queens Room ballroom. If you enjoy dancing as part of a group then you’ll relish the regular sequence dancing that takes place in the magnificent Queens Room ballroom. Everyone is welcome and its always entertaining. If you’ve taken part in dance lessons earlier in the day then feel free to join in and use this fun opportunity to put your new moves to the test. Dances range from line dancing to tango and usually take place when the band has a break.

Parties

If partying in the open air is your idea of fun then you’ll love our lively deck parties. Our deck parties are always fun so join the sailaway party to get your holiday off to a great start. In warmer seas you may also enjoy a tropical deck party, an exuberant occasion not to be missed. Sailaway parties take place on the open deck when weather allows and you’ll enjoy a buzzing atmosphere with live music and dancing. Sense the excitement for the coming voyage start to build and toast your fellow guests to wish them a wonderful holiday.

Film screenings

Enjoy a blockbuster movie or some of the latest cinema releases during your voyage. There are just so many ways you can relax whilst on holiday with us, including blockbuster movies and some of the latest releases. Take in an afternoon or early evening screening in the spectacular setting of the Royal Court Theatre, or Illuminations on board Queen Mary 2. Alternatively you may choose to simply chill out with a good movie in the privacy of your own room as there’s a varied selection of films available throughout the day on your in-stateroom TV.

Pub entertainment

Come along to the Golden Lion to enjoy all the best pub entertainment and live sports coverage. As you would expect from a faithful recreation of an English pub, the Golden Lion offers all the best pub entertainment to enjoy including live sports coverage, pub games, lively quizzes and karaoke. Pit your wits against fellow travellers in the regular pub quiz, challenge friends to a game of darts or join in the fun at a karaoke session. And with Sports 24 coverage you can keep abreast of your favourite sporting events including Premier League, Wimbledon, Formula 1, the Ryder Cup and more

You’ll discover exceptional shopping on board with elegant boutiques offering great brands to treat yourself to, whilst art lovers can view and buy artworks from top artists in our refined galleries.

Fitness Centre

Gym, Saunas and Steam Rooms – The minimum age for use of gym facilities including sauna and steam rooms, is 16 years of age with parental supervision or 18 years of age without supervision. Those under the age of 18 years of age should not use the weights section at all

The Teen Zone

Teenagers 13 to 17 will have a great time with the sports, discos and games we run around the ship. Teens in your party will have a whale of a time in this dedicated club for 13 to 17 year olds. They can enjoy deck sports, discos, gaming consoles, quizzes and much more – ensuring an action packed holiday. They’ll also appreciate the special Teen Zone area where they can challenge each other to the latest video games as well as the table tennis tournaments and team games we organise. Note that the exact age groupings will depend on the number of children travelling on any particular voyage.

The Kids’ Zone

The varied activities running here throughout the day are just the thing for 8 to 17 year olds. Kids aged 8 to 12 will experience the time of their lives with the games and activities available in this dedicated area. Our Youth Team provide the supervision and organise events so that each action packed day has something for everyone including sports, arts and crafts, friendly challenges and of course games consoles. Note that the exact age groupings will depend on the number of children travelling on any particular voyage.

The Play Zone

Children aged 2 to 7 will love the activities and themed days in this supervised haven. The Play Zone is a fully supervised play area which younger members of your family will just love. They’re sure to have a fun filled holiday with the structured activities provided by our fully trained Youth Team – including themed days, arts and crafts, games, books, puzzles, toys and computer games. There’s even a sheltered outdoor play area with a range of play equipment such as cars and tricycles. Infants from 6 months to 23 months are welcome to join in the fun with parental supervision.

Night Nursery

Enjoy your holiday more knowing that your little ones have a safe place to sleep each evening. There’s a great sense of freedom to be had when you can enjoy drinks, dinner or a show knowing that your little ones are sleeping soundly. Available on a first come first served basis our free of charge Night Nursery equips you with a pager so we can contact you if need be or alternatively, if you let us know your plans we’ll come and find you. For that extra piece of mind professional child minders are on hand. Suitable for children aged 6 to 23 months and open from 6pm to 11pm.

Library

All ships have a well stocked, complimentary library including some audio books. Holds approximately 6700 English books, 400 German, 80 French, 50 Italian, 80 Spanish and approximately 30 Japanese books.

Wine experiences

We regularly welcome wine experts on board to enrich your knowledge through lectures and tastings. We also invite wine producers to pair their wines with a lavish tasting menu at special wine dinners. You can pre-purchase from our collection of fine wine packages, carefully curated by our sommeliers, while pairing recommendations are only ever a phone call away courtesy of our ‘Wine Line’. You could even achieve an industry-recognised qualification during your cruise.

Disabled Facilities

When booking your voyage, please let us know if you have a disability or medical requirement which may mean that you require additional assistance.

Our policies and procedures comply with all applicable ship safety and disability/equality legislation, including the EU Passenger Rights Regulation. We aim to offer our services to all disabled persons or persons with reduced mobility subject to applicable safety requirements and within the parameters of each ship design, port infrastructure and equipment.

Dress Code

Children under 18 do not have a dress code but should adhere to the daily dress code where possible. National and Religious dress including headdress’ are allowed on board. Depending on the amount of the face covered by the headdress, guests may be asked to unveil for a security photo at check in and passing through security check points ashore and on board during the voyage. Some items of national dress such as ceremonial blades or swords are not permitted and guests should check our list of prohibited items under the question What am I not allowed to take on board?

As a guide, there is approximately two or three Gala nights per week.

On World voyages there will be up to three Gala nights per week, as well as themed Balls scheduled throughout the voyage.

The dress code applies to most areas of the ship after 6.00pm each evening.
