A Harry Potter themed river cruise is coming to the UK, this could be the perfect summer trip for the Potter-obsessed in your family.

An American company known as Barge Lady Cruises will be offering six-day Harry Potter themed cruises, in which guests will get the chance to visit a number of major filming locations for the movie series.

The themed cruises will be 7 night river cruises that will take place from August 5-11 and also August 19-25, onboard  (see below). This small yet elegant ship holds up to eight guests and four crew members, the rooms feature ensuite bathrooms, queen and king-sized beds, under floor heating and also flat screen television.

Unfortunately, such a magical trip does not come cheap. To get yourself onboard for the Harry Potter Cruises in a single cabin it will set you back around £1,157 and a double room around £3,752. Hiring the entire boat will cost a less than magical £27,411.

As reported by the MirrorOnline , the tour kicks off at the Hotel Stafford in London, where guests will be treated to a traditional British afternoon tea and also a visit to Hampton Court. Day two features a trip to the palace, a gourmet dinner and delicious cocktails.

Day three will include a visit to Windsor, home to Virginia Water which is the lake where Harry first meets Buckbeak in The Prisoner of Azkaban, and of course Windsor Castle. The fourth day includes visits to Dorney Court and Cliveden House, as well as Picket Post Close – the real-life filming location of 4 Privet Drive, where Harry lived in the cupboard under the stairs.

Day five features an entire day at the Warner Bros Studio Tour, where Potter fans can immerse themselves in the wizarding world and discover behind-the-scenes serets. And finally, Hogwarts’s Great Hall is on the itinerary, as a morning cruise will float through beautiful British countryside and stop at Oxford’s Christ Church College, which featured in the films.
