Popular cruising documentary, ‘The Cruise’ is returning to screens on January 11th 2018 at 8:30pm.
The six-part documentary is set on board the 3,600 guest Royal Princess, and once again will follow the adventures of the crew and some of the guests as they cruise around the Mediterranean.
Princess Cruises are one of the best-known names in cruising, operating a fleet of 18 modern cruise ships which are renowned for their innovative design as well as entertainment and amenities and a wide choice of dining options. Across the fleet they carry 1.7 million guests each year to more than 360 destinations across itineraries ranging from 3 to 114 days.
Downton Abbey’s very own Hugh Bonneville will be the voice of the show, which has been made by Wild Pictures once again who are one of the UK’s leading factual documentary makers. They have a reputation for creating access-led films with high production values that focus on major organisations and human interest stories.
Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises’ vice president UK and Europe, said: “This documentary is such a great platform for the cruise industry to showcase what a fantastic experience a holiday at sea is. As well as highlighting stunning destinations and on board events it also gives viewers a sneak peek behind the scenes to show the hard work of the 1,400 strong crew.
“Two more series are due to air later this year with visits to Alaska and the Caribbean. These three series really do show some of the fantastic destinations holiday makers can visit with Princess Cruises.”
