Celebrity Reflection in Liverpool

Celebrity Reflection Ship Visit in Liverpool

The day started with a warm welcome at Liverpool’s cruise terminal from the local ukulele band singing & playing as the passengers disembark. The solstice class ship is one of Celebrity’s larger vessels holding up to 3,046 passengers. But don’t be fooled by that number, even full capacity the main thing you notice is how much open space there is onboard.

Starting our tour in the Atrium you are greeted by the elegant staircase & opulent decor. Cask your eyes upwards and you’ll be surprised with the view of a tree suspended in between the second & fifteenth decks!

Walking around it was hard not to notice the abundance of contemporary bars and seating areas. Meaning that there’s never a struggle to find somewhere to sit back, relax & enjoy a drink or two. Not forgetting the eye catching art work that adorns the walls & walkways!

One thing I was surprised to see onboard was the number of families. This ship has recently expanded the children’s area on the ship and made it even more fun & inviting. They have children’s clubs for different ages ranges with facilities to suit from the Fun Factory with exciting games for younger children. To the X Club for the young adults a space where they can hang out & use facilities such as Xbox’s.

When it come to dinning you where really spoilt for choice. We ate in the Tuscan Grill, the quality of the food & service is very high I’ve included some images below. If you cruise ties in with a special occasion maybe try a specialty dinning experience for $50 per person. There are also exclusive dinning areas for those customers who book in an Aqua Class stateroom or above calling Blu. Or if you book a Suite you can exclusively dine in Luminae,  which boasts fine dining at its very best!

After our meal we finished our day off with a few cocktails (with very generous measures) at the Sunset bar whilst taking in the iconic Liverpool skyline from the back of the ship. Personally I think my next cruise holiday will definitely be with Celebrity Cruises!
