In the kitchen of the ship’s elegant East India Dining Room, the Executive Chef oversees a team of experts that use fresh local produce to cater for a stunning range of specialty dining experiences. While each meal presents the chance to dine on exotic local cuisine, western-style favourites are always available should you desire a taste of home.

In keeping with APT’s commitment to all-inclusive cruising, local beer, local wine and soft drinks are included on board throughout your entire cruise. 

Catch a glimpse of India from the comfort of the ships Governor's Lounge a top the Sun Deck or from the Observation Deck.  

Governor's Lounge

Located on the Sun Deck, the refined Governor’s Lounge is a great place to relax over a drink and take in the views. 

    Observation Deck

    Complete with chaise lounges and shaded areas, the outdoor Observation Deck offers sunshine, panoramic views, and a full drinks service. 

      On your cruise, exciting daily itineraries and shore excursions are enhanced by an impressive selected of onboard entertainment. Perhaps you might like to attend informative lectures by local guides on culture and history, or on select evenings you are also able to enjoy cultural performances, including a traditional puppet show.

      Relax in the on-board Spa before working out in the Fitness Centre. 

      Voyager Spa & Fitness Centre

      The Voyager Spa offers an array of treatments, while the ship’s Fitness Centre is fitted out with the latest equipment.

        Please note: There are no children's facilities on board.

        Disabled Facilities

        APT welcomes passengers with disabilities or special needs provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance. Any disability or medical condition requiring special attention must be reported to APT at the time of booking. It is the customer’s responsibility to advise us of your circumstances to ensure the selected tour is suited to your individual needs. APT is not responsible for any loss of enjoyment, loss of touring or loss of monies should the customer be unable to participate in the tour or in any or all of the activities. Any costs incurred as a consequence of the customer’s need to return home as a result of non-disclosure are the customer’s sole responsibility.         APT will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled passengers, but is not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, trains, restaurants or other independent suppliers, or for any additional associated expenses. Coaches and minibuses are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. Not all river cruise ships and decks have elevators. Cabin doors and restrooms on river cruise ships are not wide enough to allow access by standard wheelchairs. Wheelchairs and walkers cannot be carried on coaches, due to space limitations. For safety reasons, passengers in wheelchairs cannot be carried on ramps in ports where the river cruise ship is at anchor. APT is unable to provide individual assistance to any passenger for walking, dining, boarding or alighting coaches or other transportation vehicles or other personal needs.

        Dress Code

        The dress code is generally relaxed but if you wish, you can dress up for the Welcome and Captain’s gala dinners.

        Dietary Requirements

        Where a special dietary request is an important factor in your choice of holiday, you must advise APT when your booking is made. APT will pass your request onto the hotel, airline or other supplier but cannot guarantee that it will be accommodated. 

        Age Restrictions

        Children under twelve years of age are not recommended on tours and cruises. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and share their accommodation with an adult.

        Gratuities

        Tipping is included for all APT operated tours.

        There are a few activities whereby tipping is not included such as Africa & South America's City Stays & Extensions, and the Northern Lights Adventure in North America.
