Victoria’s Secret Model Named As U By Uniworld Brand Ambassador
U By Uniworld, Uniworld’s Boutique River Cruise brand has picked Victoria’s Secret Model Petra Nemcova to be the line’s ‘Guardian Angel’.
With the new line aimed at travellers aged between 21 to 45 Uniworld have decided against having a traditional godmother and instead have opted for a ‘Guardian Angel’.
Ellen Bettridge, President & CEO of Uniworld said: “We’re making history with this concept, so rather than follow the traditional ‘Godmother’ path for each individual ship, we’re paving our own way forward.”
She also added: “Petra is an amazing representative of our new brand; she’s smart, ambitious and has a kind, adventurous spirit. As a former Victoria’s Secret model, Petra is, of course, well-versed as an ‘Angel.’
This decision is one example of how U by Uniworld is going to be different from the competition, giving river cruising a modern makeover. The line is attempting give a new take on travel – ‘with cruises designed for those with a passion for exploring and a taste for authentic adventures.’
U by Uniworld will also support Nemcova’s Happy Hearts Fund, which was founded after the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. It is currently working in 10 countries to help rebuild schools after natural disasters and has so far nearly benefited nearly 100,000 students.
