Royal Caribbean Reveals More New Independence Features

Royal Caribbean has revealed a further three features that will be onboard Independence of the Seas following its refurbishment which is set to take place in April 2018.
Back in September the cruise line revealed that the ship would feature a new kids water park, Splashaway Bay, as well as the Asian restaurant, Izumi. Not only that, they also revealed an exciting Escape Room plus a trampoline Bungee Dome.
You will also be able to say hello to a tasty treat from home at ‘Fish & Ships’, an all new eating venue onboard, serving a classic fish and chips meaning you won’t be missing home too much. Featuring British treats including freshly fried cod and chips, this new eatery will be positioned next to the new Splashaway Bay water park.
Another addition is ‘Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade’ where passengers will be able to follow sports games being played around the world, meaning you can cheer on your team whilst sailing the seven seas. If passengers are feeling a little peckish Playmakers has plenty to offer, serving wings, popcorn shrimp, mini-burgers, fries and the Playmaker burger, not forgetting the ice cold beer on tap! You can also play arcade games such as Ms. Pacman and Star Wars!The last new feature is sure to please those cruisers with a sweet tooth, as you’ll be able to treat yourself in ‘Sugar Beach Candy & Ice Cream Store’. Satisfy that craving and dive into a wondrous world of delicious delights, Sugar Beach is a dreamland filled with all your favourite sweets and confectionery including rich and creamy homemade ice cream.
