Carnival Cruise Line has announced that their third Vista-class ship, which is due to launch in 2019 will be named ‘Carnival Panorama.’

The ship is currently being built at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard, and will join two sister ships, Carnival Vista which began service in 2016 and Carnival Horizon which is set to debut in 2018.

Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line, said: “Carnival Panorama is the perfect name to reflect the design inspiration of our Vista-class ships providing more venues and opportunities to connect with the sea. Carnival Panorama will offer a wide variety of fun indoor and outdoor experiences along with exciting one-of-a-kind features that will provide our guests with a lifetime of wonderful vacation memories.”

Carnival Panorama will offer indoor and alfresco dining experiences, and restaurants including Fahrenheit 555 Steak House and Bonsai Sushi. It will also offer attractions such as SkyRide, a Dr. Seuss themed WaterWorks park including a Cat in the Hat slide as well as the SportsSquare recreation area.

Panorama will also feature the Havana section, which is inspired by the tropics, complete with its own Cuban-themed bar and pool. The Family Harbor area will also be onboard, featuring extra-roomy accomodation and the Family Harbor Lounge.

The homeport, itineraries and all the new features for Carnival Panorama are set to be announced at a later date.
