If you’re travelling in a Britannia Club Balcony stateroom you can choose to eat here for breakfast, lunch or dinner with the added flexibility of enjoying dinner any time between 6.30 and 9.00. As you’d expect, menus change daily and in addition to the full selection from the Britannia restaurant you can savour a range of enhancements for an extraordinary dining experience.

Queens Grill

In the beautifully appointed Queens Grill you can savour the ultimate in dining sophistication.As a guest in our Queens Grill suites you’ll enjoy a remarkable dining experience. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner you’ll savour flawless service and impeccably prepared dishes ranging from exquisite contemporary creations to Cunard Classics. If you’re seeking alternative dining, The Verandah offers a sublime experience, whether it’s lunch or dinner. Showcasing specialties such as prime USDA grain finished New York strip steak and Alaskan king crab, alongside dishes celebrating British provenance such as Salt Marsh lamb rack, as well as renowned Wagyu beef from farther afield, the menu is a celebration of the fine provenance of the US, British Isles and Australia. Open on sea days, Steakhouse at The Verandah is available for dinner reservations and is pre-bookable.

Lunch & snacks

A selection of tempting venues offers you a remarkable choice to satisfy your appetite.If anything sums up the freedom of your holiday it’s the array of places to eat and this includes the many casual venues for lunches and snacks. If you fancy an authentic pub lunch then choose the Golden Lion and you’ll discover why we’re famous for our delicious Fish and Chips and other tempting dishes. On Queen Mary 2 try the Carinthia Lounge and enjoy handmade patisseries as well as light breakfasts and lunches. Alternatively, the Boardwalk Cafe is perfect for a tasty snack in sunnier climes.

Alternative dining

You can always let your taste buds lead you somewhere deliciously different on board.If anything sums up the freedom of your cruise, it is the array of places to eat, from healthy to hearty, from light bites to haute cuisine. It’s simply a case of deciding what you’re in the mood for. The menu at The Verandah features speciality seafood and tender cooked-to-order prime cuts. Within either Kings Court or the Lido, alternative venues include Aztec with its Mexican flavours, Asian delicacies at Bamboo, Italian-themed La Piazza and the Smokehouse, inspired by a classic American grill.

You’ll find dancing in our magnificent Queens Room ballrooms a truly magical experience. Our Queens Room ballrooms are quite simply the largest at sea. There is no better place for you to revel in the joy of dance than under the dramatic high ceiling and our sparkling Royal Night Themed Balls are always spectacular. With gentlemen dance hosts on hand, everyone can enjoy gliding across the dance floor. If you love to dance but need a dance partner then our dance hosts are on hand in the Queens Room on every voyage, meaning you needn’t miss out on the joy of gliding across the dance floor. Dance hosts are offered to any guest wishing to ballroom dance with a partner with the exception of during party nights.

Nightclub

Visit the nightclub to dance late into the evening to the sounds of the live DJ and resident band. For a night to remember and to dance until the small hours you’ll love the strikingly located Yacht Club on board Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria. Whereas on Queen Mary 2, G32 is a stunning venue. Party until the last person hangs up their dancing shoes to the sounds of the live DJ and resident party band. And for a special evening with a twist, look out for our popular themed nights from the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties such as Saturday Night Fever and Shake Rattle and Roll.

Sequence dancing

Experience all the fun of sequence dancing in the stunning Queens Room ballroom. If you enjoy dancing as part of a group then you’ll relish the regular sequence dancing that takes place in the magnificent Queens Room ballroom. Everyone is welcome and its always entertaining. If you’ve taken part in dance lessons earlier in the day then feel free to join in and use this fun opportunity to put your new moves to the test. Dances range from line dancing to tango and usually take place when the band has a break.

If partying in the open air is your idea of fun then you’ll love our lively deck parties. Our deck parties are always fun so join the sailaway party to get your holiday off to a great start. In warmer seas you may also enjoy a tropical deck party, an exuberant occasion not to be missed. Sailaway parties take place on the open deck when weather allows and you’ll enjoy a buzzing atmosphere with live music and dancing. Enjoy a blockbuster movie or some of the latest cinema releases during your voyage. There are just so many ways you can relax whilst on holiday with us, including blockbuster movies and some of the latest releases. Guests on Queen Elizabeth can take advantage of her refined Games Deck, unique in our fleet, where paddle tennis, croquet or bowls may tempt you. Golfers can practice their swing in the nets on Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. Alternatively, challenge friends to something more traditional such as deck quoits or shuffleboard, or join one of the regular tournaments.

Pools

Indulge in a refreshing dip in one of the several pools and whirlpools on offer. Whichever ship you decide on you can choose from a refreshing variety of pools and whirlpools – each heated to just the right temperature. Queen Mary 2 offers two outdoor pools and her Pavilion Pool has a retractable roof so you can enjoy a dip whatever the weather. In addition, there’s the Minnows Pool for kids and her luxurious Canyon Ranch Spa Pool is a treat. Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth on the other hand offer 2 spacious outdoor pools as well as a hydrotherapy pool in their spas.

Art Activities

Express yourself with our activities for art lovers or purchase a special piece to enjoy at home. When you experience the freedom of being at sea you’ll soon realise it’s the perfect time to indulge in the joys of art. You can join a range of activities including watercolour classes, talks, seminars and discussions lead by well known artists and art historians. Take time to browse the eclectic portfolio on display in the Clarendon Fine Art Gallery and choose a new addition to your collection at home. Watercolour classes are available on all cruises that have full sea days.

Whilst on your cruise you may be joined by some famous faces with fascinating stories to share – perhaps a famous writer, actor or musician or possibly an eminent scientist, explorer or politician. Join one of our Cunard Insights talks to be entertained and informed by thought provoking stories, occasionally in intimate settings. Improve your Ipad and computer skills with our i-Study Enrichment Programme and on Queen Mary 2 you can even hone your acting abilities with a RADA workshop.

Sit back and listen to some of your favourite music or discover new compositions at one of our classical concerts. On every sea day you will find a classical recital to indulge in. With a wide variety of talented guest musicians, each voyage is sure to delight with new and varied programmes

Interdenominational church service

If your ship is at sea on a Sunday we’re pleased to offer an interdenominational religious service. Whilst at sea you may wish to join the interdenominational religious service we hold in one of the theatres on board. These take place on a Sunday and are usually hosted by the Captain or Staff Captain. In addition, during the festive season we hold a midnight mass on board. A Catholic Priest sails permanently on Queen Mary 2 and we’re pleased to have Catholic and Protestant Priests on board Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth at Christmas and Easter, with services held accordingly.

Additional cost Elegant boutiques offer exceptional shopping, from fashion and luxury, to books and fine art. You’ll find the quality of shopping exceptional, with top brands in elegant boutiques offering fine jewellery, watches, fashion and perfume, whilst our book shops are a pleasure. Here you can browse nautical literature, posters and memorabilia. The opportunity to buy contemporary artworks from Clarendon Fine Art is always tempting and you may discover an irresistible photograph of your voyage in the photo gallery. You’ll appreciate too, that essentials such as toothpaste are also available.

Meet leading artists and expand your own collection at Clarendon Fine Art Gallery. Satisfy your artistic curiosity at any hour aboard all three of our ships. The Clarendon Fine Art Gallery offers a finely curated collection which is open for viewing round the clock, 365 days a year. Exhibitions feature original artwork, hand signed limited editions and sculptures which can change by the day and feature such names as L.S. Lowry, Sherree Valentine-Daines and Christian Hook. Clarendon Fine Art also hosts events from gallery tours to exclusive previews and informative lectures.

We will then send you a questionnaire by email to complete and return as well as a fact sheet containing some useful and essential information about your holiday. If you have booked with a travel agent please contact them to request a questionnaire on your behalf.

This is to ensure that there is sufficient time to be able to contact you should we need to discuss any of the information that has been provided.
