Launched in 1993, refitted and refurbished in November 2017, Braemar is a small destination ship with 7 decks able to cater for around 900 guests. With large windows, polished wood, shining brass fittings and classic fabrics, she offers a charming, traditional feel. Designed with more mature cruising passengers in mind, a range of dining, entertainment and relaxation facilities are onboard.
The small and stylish Braemar features a five-deck high atrium and fabulous cascading decks at the rear of the ship, making her ideal for sailing in the warmer and calmer seas of the Caribbean.
But what’s more, Braemar features a shallow draft which makes her perfect for sailing narrow waterways, meandering rivers and enclosed Fjords. In fact, Braemar is the largest cruise ship able to navigate the Guadalquivir River into Seville, meaning our guests are docked just 500 meters from the city centre, rather than having to take a 45-minute transfer from Cadiz like those on larger cruise ships.
