Begin your mornings with a hearty breakfast from the buffet, offering hot and cold favourites as well as fresh fruit and cereal. A morning of exploration is followed by a delicious lunch back on board where you can choose from regional delicacies, as well as British classics. Dinner is a celebration, offering an enticing buffet or à la carte menu, and our special welcome and farewell dinners are a great way to create new friendships with fellow guests in the most charming setting.

The Terrace

A beautifully decked area at the front of the Star-Ship, The Terrace provides a lovely retreat from which to enjoy a light snack or refreshing drink. Depending on the Star-Ship, this partly indoor and outdoor space is a spectacular vantage point from which to soak up the scenery, whatever the weather. This peaceful setting is also a great spot to enjoy a glass of local wine or beer with your loved ones or new-found companions.

Complimentary drinks

Complimentary drinks with lunch and dinner is all par for the course and our wonderfully attentive team will always be on-hand to help you choose a drink to suit your chosen meal, whether it’s beer, wine or a soft drink that’s to your taste. Our sommelier carefully handpicks our wine selection each evening, sourced from local and regional vineyards.

Reflections Restaurant

Open seating is perfect for relaxed dining and socialising with fellow guests, as you savour a wonderful variety of Asian-inspired dishes. A wonderful way to conclude a day of exploration, or prepare for one of your many included excursions. And, of course, we will always provide a selection of home favourites for you to enjoy, perfect for the days you crave something more familiar.

Horizon & Lounge

The Horizon Bar & Lounge is the social heartbeat of our Star-Ships. Surprisingly spacious and exceedingly modern, this contemporary and comfortable haven is one of the most popular areas of our vessels day or night. There’s a fully stocked bar with attentive bartenders, help-yourself to a selection of coffees from out high-tech coffee-machine, or try one of our speciality teas, and take a seat in our plush and spacious sofas and chairs. In the day it’s a place to catch up with new friends and unwind.

Our live music showcase is just another was to ensure you enjoy an unforgettable river cruise. We’re always looking for exciting and unexpected ways to entertain our guests and we’re sure that you will love our collection of fun and inspirational performances.

Pool to Cinema

Unlike any other on Europe’s waters, our ships boast a heated pool complete with retractable roof and bar which cleverly transforms into a cinema in the evening. Watch in awe as the floor rises through the pool’s surface and a screen is lowered from above. In a matter of minutes the area is converted from a swimming pool into a cosy cinema where a selection of classic and contemporary films are shown throughout your cruise.

Cultural Performances

On select evenings guests are invited to watch local performances in the traditional style. From a Bavarian band to Hungarian dancing, there’s no finer way to celebrate the native culture than in the comfort of familiar surroundings.

Onboard Fitness

Each of the Emerald Waterways ships boasts an on-board fitness room, with high-quality equipment and gym apparatus.

Swimming Pool

The on-board pool is open from 06:00 until 18:00 every day. On selected evenings, the pool area is transformed into our evening cinema…

Shore Excursions

With a different port call almost every day of your cruise; Emerald Waterways have organised a series of inspiring days ashore – taking you to the very heart of the beautiful towns and cities we visit. Exploring authentic local cultures, Emerald Waterways excursions are led by experienced, knowledgeable guides – introducing you to a wealth of knowledge.

Hair Salon

Each of the Emerald Waterways ships features a hairdresser and well-appointed wellness area – helping you pamper yourself whilst cruising the beautiful waterways of Europe and Asia.

Disability Requirements

We welcome all guests with mobility issues but please be aware that limitations could exist on-board and during shore excursions. Our lifts service three out of the four decks, with access to the Sun Deck only possible using stairs. Under appropriate circumstances, guests are allowed to use a collapsible wheelchair on-board.

You must be able to climb up and down the stairs on coaches and some shore excursions may require movement over cobblestones or up and down stairs. Guests with limited mobility will require the services of a reasonable companion, since the crew is limited. On occasions, we may be required to dock alongside other ships, which means accessing the shore via the Sun Deck. For further information, please contact one of our travel advisors.
