It’s more than likely that you pick up a few souvenirs and presents when going on holiday, so why should it be any different when cruising? Many cruise lines will offer the basic shops where you can buy essentials you may have forgotten and probably a few souvenirs – however sometimes this just isn’t good enough. Here at Vision Cruise we know a lot of cruise lines which boast many more shopping opportunities than just the basics. Below is an outline of the shops on a few of the popular cruise lines so you can start shopping onboard as soon as you step on the ship.
Whilst on-board a Royal Caribbean cruise there will be no shortage of shops for you to explore. On many of the ships the Royal Promenade boutiques are the place to be, with beautiful small stores filled with a variety of products, there will always be something you want to buy.
If you’re cruising on an Oasis class ship, you will also have the luxury of shopping in stores such as Michael Kors – you can even pick up some art in the Britto Art Gallery. A more recent addition to the Allure of the Seas is the Kate Spade New York store. You can also order gifts which are delivered to your cabin, including wine, chocolate and champagne.
Tax and Duty-free shopping is available on a P&O cruise. From the basic essentials, to luxury jewellery, there is retail therapy available for everyone on-board P&O. Special shopping events are held across the ship stores and these are advertised in the Horizon on-board newspaper – so keep an eye out for these great deals whilst cruising!
You can get up to 40% off high street prices on beauty products in P&O’s beauty store – shop ’til your heart’s content and then relax with a complimentary makeup or skin consultation. Visiting the fashion store you will find designer brands Ted Baker, Armani, Radley, Guess and many more who will bring you the latest trends in fashion. If you’re looking for a little luxury, the watch and jewellery store on-board is the place to find a gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself.
Take a walk down the marbled walkways on-board a Celebrity cruise and explore designer brands such as Tag Heauer, Armani, Calvin Klein and Versace. On-board Silhouette and Reflection you will get an exclusive experience shopping in Bvlgari, Breitling, Omega and Michael Kors designer boutiques. The Celebrity Reflection is also home to Kate Spade, Cole Haan and Barbara Rihl fine leather goods.
Most ships in the fleet also have an Innovations Store, so if you’re more into technology than fashion this is the place to be. Selling items from iPads to laptops – the Innovations Store is filled with all the new gadgets.
