Are There Kids Pools Onboard A Cruise Ship?
Family-friendly ships are designed so the whole family enjoys their holiday – however not all passengers travel with children and some tend to enjoy a relaxing swim without all the splashing. This is why many cruise lines offer pools specifically for kids – these tend to have much more exciting features. Depending on a child’s age they may need to be accompanied by an adult in certain pools. However, mainly they are allowed to swim and slide around the H20 Zone freely.
Children are permitted to use all family-friendly pools onboard P&O. there are also some shallow pools catered to younger passengers.
Child swimming lessons are available onboard Celebrity so parents can relax in the sun without worrying about getting in and out of the pool with the kids.

Parents must accompany children in the pool at all times, unless they are with their Splash Academy or Entourage programmes.
Children aged 9-17 are able to go swimming without their parents but only under the Swimming under the Stars and Survivor Swim Challenge programmes.
As long as children are supervised by an adult, they are welcome in all pools onboard – however the Jacuzzi’s are off limits.
Swimming activities are available through the onboard kid’s clubs – this allows parents to relax as the highly-trained staff supervise the pool.
Princess offers adult only pools onboard. However, the Pirate’s View onboard the Caribbean Princess is great for kids and has its own splash pool.
